Welcome to File 13
Resting place for rejected copy and random leftovers

The Inside Azaleaville Studio artists work night and day creating artwork for Facebook, Nextdoor, email and this very newsletter. Unfortunately, not every experiment is a masterpiece. Some images go straight into the trash where they belong. But every so often, a few misfires are too entertaining to stay buried. We present File 13, a small sampling of the best of the worst. It may be a waste of your time, but no one’s forcing you to look.

Several Admiral Farragut floats appeared in the Virtual Halloween parade.
The November Azalea NA meeting has a guest from animal rescue and a beekeeper.
We asked the studio for an image that would show important events in Azalea history.
Azaleaville was completed around the same time Sputnik was launched.
Virtual Halloween Parade: the two Admiral Farragut grads who walked on the moon.

Famous Steves in image above: Steve Buscemi with his distinctive wide-eyed expression, Steve Young in a football jersey holding a football, Steve Jobs in black turtleneck and round glasses, Steve Nash in a Phoenix Suns basketball jersey, Steve Allen in a 1950s suit by a microphone, Steve Miller playing guitar Steve Aoki, with long hair behind DJ turntables, Steve Winwood with a microphone. A ninth unidentified person is in the picture. He might not even be a Steve.
That wraps up this month’s salvage operation. We’ll be back next time with more curiosities. We remind you, this may be a waste of time, but no one’s forcing you to look.
